Warehouse Forklift OperatorBenefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching, company parties, competitive salary, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, profit sharing, vision insurance, wellness resourcesJob Summary: Load / unload or otherwise move inventory using heavy capacity fork truck equipment according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate fork truck to lift, move, position, reposition steel and heavy material to stock areas.Load and unload trailers and railroad cars.Drive and operate the fork truck in a variety of conditions and spaces.Log and report inventory location changes according to specified procedure into inventory computer system and/or by paperwork.Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedureAssemble customer orders according to work ordersRecord pertinent material information to work orders, material, or other forms as specified by managementWork within precise limits and standards of accuracy.Works and coordinates with multiple areas of warehouse, and coworkers to complete tasks.Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures.Safety sensitive for his/her own safety and/or of others safety.Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasksEnthusiastic team player with a motivating positive attitudeCommitted to a workplace of culture and respect.Dependable and consistent attendance/punctualityMay need to work overtime and weekends as assigned (depending on business need).Compensation: $23.50 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.About Us:With an exceptionally wide range of products and services, Infra-Metals is one of the largest structural steel service providers in the United States.
