Position Title: Human Resources Generalist Departments: Human Resources Function: Human Resources Management Grade: 150; Shift Premium for Nights and Weekends Reports To: Human Resources Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Location: ODC – Avon, IN (not remote) Shift: 3rd shift: Friday - Sunday Days Target Hiring Date: May 2026 Your Role at Sephora As an HR Generalist, you are a trusted coach, strategic partner, and problem solver. You support the full spectrum of the employee life‑cycle from recruitment to off‑boarding, champion fair practices, competitive benefits, and safe working conditions. Your engagement will help build a culture rooted in Sephora’s core values and promote HR excellence through process improvement, engagement, and collaboration. Essential Functions of the Job Employee Relations & Performance Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations escalations; conduct investigations; address concerns; provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, disciplinary measures, and consistent application of policies; conduct employee feedback initiatives and collaborate with operations to implement change plans; collaborate with Accessibility and Inclusion Generalist; partner with leaders on safety incidents; represent Sephora at unemployment hearings; and support adherence to policies. HR Analytics : Maintain accurate employee records; utilize HR analytics to identify trends; recommend improvements for workforce planning; analyze data to identify patterns in turnover, absenteeism, and performance; monitor key HR metrics such as engagement, retention, and diversity; collaborate with business leaders to develop data‑driven strategies for talent management. Employee Engagement & Development : Attend daily operations start‑of‑shift meetings; facilitate succession planning for supervisor roles, maintain talent pools, track development plans; support annual performance reviews for non‑exempt employees; provide guidance and resources for career development; collaborate with HR leaders on internal initiatives to enhance engagement, morale, and networking opportunities. Key Qualifications 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing plant PHR or SHRM certification preferred Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Ability to give and receive feedback professionally and respectfully Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines Knowledge and application of HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, SuccessFactors) and strong MS Office Suite, especially Excel Flexible and adaptive in a fast‑paced environment; teamwork and collaborative approach; demonstration of Sephora Values; flexible work schedule and ability to work any designated shift and overtime as requested. Minimal required travel for seminars and work‑related activities Salary & Benefits Annual base salary range: $63,495.00 – $70,965.00. Salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
