Dealership Service Advisor

Palm Springs Ford in Cathedral City, CA is looking for a Service Advisor to join its service department. This role is the main point of contact between customers and the shop, gathering vehicle information, advising on needed repairs and maintenance, writing accurate estimates, and keeping customers informed from drop-off to pickup. Personal vehicle repair discounts Health, medical, and dental insurance 401(k) PTO and sick leave Uniforms provided Flexible scheduling What You'll Do Greet customers promptly and collect vehicle and customer information to open each visit Listen to customer-described symptoms and document them clearly on the repair order Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history Prepare complete, accurate estimates for labor and parts Establish follow-up times and keep customers updated on vehicle progress throughout the day Confirm that final invoices match completed repair order work before delivery Explain all services performed and associated charges to customers at pickup What We're Looking For 1+ year of service department experience required Prior experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant preferred Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus Strong automotive knowledge and ability to assess issues quickly Proven customer satisfaction track record Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems and repair procedures Commitment to long-term career growth with a growing organization High school diploma or equivalent required Palm Springs Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
