$15–$17/hr - VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND INSURANCE REQUIRED

We are seeking a dependable, proactive caregiver to support multiple clients across the Eldon, Jefferson City, and Linn areas. These are consistent, scheduled hours with clients who benefit from routine, structure, and engaged support.

This role is ideal for a caregiver who takes initiative, enjoys staying active during their shift, and is confident balancing hands-on care with meaningful companionship.

You’ll be supporting older adults who value their independence but benefit from steady guidance, organization, and encouragement in their daily routines.

• One client is a proud veteran who enjoys cooking, conversation, and staying active around his home and yard. He thrives with a caregiver who is organized, self-directed, and comfortable taking initiative, whether that’s preparing meals, organizing the home, or finding ways to stay engaged and productive throughout the day.
• Another client benefits from a calm, steady presence and enjoys conversation, routine, and home-cooked meals. She values her independence and responds best to caregivers who are patient, observant, and supportive without being overbearing.

Across all clients, the caregiver should be comfortable providing a balance of companionship, structure, and safety-focused support.

We are currently hiring for consistent weekday shifts:

• Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri (9am–1pm)
• Sun (1pm--5pm)
• Additional hours available for those with flexibility

***Caregivers must have reliable availability for their assigned days each week.

• You are comfortable working in different home environments
• You have at least 1 year of care giving experience 

This Position Is Not Ideal For:

• Individuals seeking flexible or “as available” shifts
• Individuals with rotating or inconsistent availability
• Those seeking “as needed” or highly flexible scheduling
• Applicants unable to reliably travel between service areas 

What Success Looks like in This Role:

• Creating a safe, steady environment by supporting mobility and preventing falls - standby assistance for ADLs
• Preparing simple, fresh meals and helping maintain consistent nutrition and hydration
• Keeping the home organized, clean, and running smoothly day-to-day
• Providing meaningful companionship through conversation, engagement, and encouragement
• Supporting independence while offering the right level of guidance and oversight

 

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• 1 year of care giving experience - CNA preferred but not required
• Alzheimer’s/dementia basics strongly preferred
• Confident assisting with mobility and fall prevention
• Strong cooking skills preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable in a home with cats and dogs
• Patient, attentive, and proactive
• Proactive and self-directed
