Your Impact as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician Your impact and responsibilities are aligned with state licensing and hospital requirements. Responsibilities vary by state and hospital policy and will be outlined by the responsible veterinarian and, where applicable, by the state's Veterinary Practice Act. Responsibilities Utilize your full skillset as a vital part of the medical team, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work. Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflows and support skill development. Partner with clients by educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions with confidence. Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and maintaining high standards. Qualifications Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program. A current state veterinary technician license in good standing. Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures. Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
