Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required.

Must-Have: Strong experience in all types of surgery.

Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role requires a well-rounded RN with experience in various surgical procedures. Candidates with first-time travel experience must have at least 3 years of PACU experience. The schedule does not allow for specific day-off requests. Weekend shifts may be required to accommodate unit needs. All holiday requests must be submitted as preferences at the time of application. The registered nurse will care for patients recovering from anesthesia. Key patient populations include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 40 patients, with a patient ratio of 2:1. This position does not require on-call duties. The work environment includes interdisciplinary support from various services. Travelers may float between nearby facilities if necessary. Refusal to float may lead to assignment termination.
