Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take your imaging skills to the next level by providing advanced patient care services as a Cath Lab Tech. In this contract role, your expertise will directly support cardiac procedures in a fast-paced medical setting, ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical accuracy.

Schedule:

• 3x12s days

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• At least one year of direct patient care experience
• Must complete radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring precise and high-quality imaging
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile field; adhere rigorously to safety and infection control protocols
• Perform and record necessary pre- and post-procedure assessments
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record
• Stay current with best practices and new technologies in cath lab imaging
