Insurance Associate PositionWell established and growing firm is seeking an Insurance Associate to join its Insurance Practice Group in Raleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex and high-quality matters within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.About the RoleThis position offers hands-on experience in a sophisticated insurance practice, including both litigation and coverage-related work. Associates in this group take an active role in case strategy, client interaction, and all phases of litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support a caseload involving insurance-related litigation and/or coverage mattersDraft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discoveryConduct legal research and prepare written analysisTake and defend depositions, as well as assist with hearings and trial preparationCollaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy and deliver high-quality legal servicesQualifications4–5+ years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense and/or coverage workStrong legal research and writing skillsExcellent academic credentials (top 25% of class required)Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discoveryAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentLicensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission; South Carolina license is a plusWillingness and ability to relocate to Wake County / Durham County, NCCompensationCompetitive base salary DOEDiscretionary bonusesHealth, Dental, Vision401(k)/retirementPTO and vacation/sickOngoing mentorshipPath to partnership coachingRelocation assistance for well qualified candidates
