Director II - Regional Ambulatory Operations

As Director II of Regional Ambulatory Operations, you will direct the overall operations for assigned Regional Ambulatory locations to include budget development, clinical operations and patient access, employee management and non-staff productivity. You will also assist in the development of initiatives aligned with the Clinical Institute and enterprise strategies. This experience can lead to even further leadership roles within Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30AM – 5:00PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Direct the overall operations for assigned Regional Ambulatory locations including the organization and management of department operational and business activities. Support the application of CC operating procedures and communicate with management to ensure understanding and compliance with policies/procedures. Direct the selection and placement of new employees, performance evaluations and corrective actions. Interpret and communicate policies/procedures and communicate relevant changes. Develop and manage departmental operating budgets and educational funding activities and monitor cost variances. Identify and lead key department cost management initiatives to achieve quantified results. Develop strong understanding and co-lead in the direction/monitoring of the revenue cycle for the department's professional billing and reimbursement and associated technical centers within department. Manage operational areas and identify and drive improvement opportunities in key areas including, patient access, patient experience, service line cost management, quality management, employee engagement and other department functions that support the overall Regional Ambulatory performance. Partner with community leaders to support wellness and ensure provided services are aligned with community needs. Collaborate with Clinical Institutes and Regional leadership in implementing strategic initiatives within the assigned Regional Ambulatory Operations locations including institute growth strategies, new practice acquisitions and marketing plans. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field Five years of progressively responsible related work experience, including supervisory experience Master's Degree may offset two years of the experience requirement Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master’s Degree Physical Requirements:Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $92,620.00Maximum Annual Salary: $141,265.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
