Machine Maintenance Technician III - 1st Shift Job Category: Maintenance Requisition Number: MACHI001414 Posted : May 27, 2026 Full-Time Locations 404 3001 East Air Lane Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC production machines and facility equipment according to OEM instruction and production needs. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, machine geometry alignments, spindle inspection/replacement, ballscrew inspection, Bearing preload settings, High Pressure coolant system adjustments, and general component diagnosis and repair. Perform electrical and electronical troubleshooting such as spindle/axis servo tuning, servo amplifier replacement and programming, single and three phase power supplies, low voltage control wiring, overload protection resetting, AC/DC motor inspection and troubleshooting. Set up work with variety of vendors, contractors, and outside technicians, as well with other members of our internal Maintenance department. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong background with Fanuc controls, to include parameter changes, system back-ups, grid shifts, pitch error compensation, G and M codes, and the ability to read IO and search Ladder Logic as needed for diagnosis purposes. Ability to operate a variety of CNC lathes, mills, and other CNC machinery as needed for machine repairs. Handwheel, MDI, and Auto operation. Ability to read and understand machine maintenance manuals, operation manuals, Fanuc instruction manuals, and associated machine documentation. Paperback and digital. Understanding and use precision measuring equipment. Operation of fork lifts, scissor lifts, boom lift, and working at elevated heights. Experience with vacuum pumps and systems is a desired skill. Knowledge of, and ability to comply with OSHA Safety and company rules. Education and Experience: Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a technical apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of qualified maintenance experience.
