Job Description

CDR General Services is seeking a dedicated Welder – Stainless Steel to join our team near Pineville, LA . This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented welder with strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and experience working in fast-paced industrial and construction environments. The ideal candidate is committed to producing high-quality welds while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Job Location: Pineville, LA
Pay Rate: $38.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform welding and fabrication work on stainless steel piping systems, including HVAC applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, piping layouts, and HVAC drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
• Cut, fit, and assemble stainless steel pipes and components according to specifications
• Execute high-quality welds using appropriate techniques (TIG preferred for stainless steel)
• Ensure all welds meet project standards, codes, and quality requirements
• Inspect completed welds and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
• Work closely with field crews, foremen, and supervisors to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling of materials and tools
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety regulations
• Support HVAC piping installations, including alignment and system integration.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in welding stainless steel (required)
• Minimum 2 years TIG welding experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years stainless steel welding experience (required)
• Experience working with HVAC piping systems and installations preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, and HVAC schematics
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varying conditions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to job site regulations
