Summary

Oversees the delivery of health services to the campus community

Essential Job Functions

Manages the daily operations for the delivery of health services
Administers routine and emergency health care services to students
Oversees the delivery of physician and/or other medical provider services
Establishes and/or revises administrative, clinical and operational policies, procedures and protocols to comply with health regulations and to address students' routine and emergency health care needs
Maintains a secure system of confidential medical records in accordance with applicable standards of practice, state and federal laws and HIPPA guidelines
Manages the inventory of medical supplies, equipment and medications, including appropriate procurement, storage, security and maintenance
Prepares and monitors the departmental budget
Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a master's degree
Moderate amount of experience working in nursing, clinical, health services management or other related experience
Nurse practitioner's license

Qualified candidates must live or relocate to live within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
