Weare seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented CertifiedOccupational Therapy Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facilityin San Jose,California. In this role, you will workunder the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist tosupport patients in regaining independence with daily livingactivities following illness, injury, or surgery. This is arewarding opportunity to work with a geriatric and post-acutepopulation while making a direct impact on patient recovery andquality of life.

Job Responsibilities

Assist inimplementing occupational therapy treatment plans under thesupervision of an Occupational Therapist
Guide patientsthrough therapeutic activities focused on improving dailyliving skills
Monitor patient progress and report anychanges or concerns to the supervising OccupationalTherapist
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptivetechniques and proper use of equipment
Maintain accurateand timely documentation of treatments and patientprogress
Ensure compliance with facility policies andregulatory standards

Requirements

Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistantin California
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 yearspreferred
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility orgeriatric setting is a plus
Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
