Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2+ years of RN Endoscopy experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2+ years of RN Endoscopy experience Description: The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy unit cares for a diverse patient population with a variety of medical conditions. This fast-paced environment offers challenges for both new and experienced nurses. The role includes collaborating with other healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Nurses are expected to utilize a Clinical Practice Model and a Caring-Quality Model to meet patients' evolving needs. The Registered Nurse is committed to lifelong learning through certification, advanced practice, and literature review. Demonstrating leadership by sharing knowledge and serving as a clinical resource is essential. Effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary dialogue is expected. Nurses are responsible for managing time wisely and supporting team productivity. Additional duties may be assigned in line with job objectives. A strict attendance policy is in effect. Being absent from a scheduled shift or being more than 20 minutes late three times may result in immediate termination. Exceptions will be considered for communicable diseases or hospitalization with supporting evidence.
