Job Description As a Security Dispatch Officer in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional in a transportation location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm activity. You will maintain clear records, communicate with team members and site personnel, and help provide a welcoming, secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, passengers, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, receiving calls for service and relaying relevant information to security-related personnel and site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities and escalating concerns according to site procedures. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records of communications, personnel assignments, and response activity. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport operations areas and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or potential concerns. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
