Duties Collaborate with clients to develop and protect intellectual property portfolios. Interface with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Negotiate settlements related to intellectual property disputes. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in patent law. Admitted to the USPTO or eligible to take the Patent Bar. Excellent academic performance. Strong writing and analytical skills. Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education JD required. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software, or Computer Science preferred. Certifications USPTO admission or eligibility to take the Patent Bar. Skills Experience with consumer electronics and software, including web-based services.
