OTR Truck Driver (CDL Class A), Full-TimeJob Type: Full-timeRoutes: Midwest, South, Southeast, and East Coast (no New York City)Pay: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile (dry van) | $0.70 - $0.75 per mile (reefer)About the RoleWe're looking for a reliable, skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. You'll be responsible for the safe, efficient delivery of goods to various locations while following all safety regulations and company policies. This role calls for a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dry vans, and refrigerated trailers.RoutesWe run the Midwest, South, Southeast, and East Coast. We do not run New York City.CompensationDry van: $0.65 - $0.70 per mileReefer: $0.70 - $0.75 per mileTypical miles: Around 3,000 miles per week, or 12,000 - 14,000 miles per monthTypical weekly pay: Drivers average around $2,200-$2500 per weekPay range: Our lowest weekly checks have been around $1,800, and strong drivers who can run 3,500 miles make up to $2,700-$3000 per weekEquipmentYou'll drive a newer, DOT-legal truck that's always maintained on time.Model years: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027Makes: Freightliner Cascadia, new-body Kenworth, and VolvoEvery truck comes equipped with an inverter, fridge, and microwaveResponsibilitiesOperate and drive tractor-trailers, dry vans, and refrigerated trailersComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory complianceKeep accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumptionFollow all traffic laws and regulations to keep yourself and others safeCommunicate with dispatchers about delivery schedules and any issues that come up in transitProvide courteous, professional customer service at every deliveryQualificationsValid CDL Class A license (required)2+ years of CDL A driving experienceAcceptable motor vehicle record, with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 yearsNo SAP driversKnowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance proceduresStrong attention to detail for accurate log keeping and regulatory complianceExcellent time management to meet delivery deadlines consistentlyAbility to work independently and as part of a team when neededWhy Join UsYour skills will be valued here, and you'll play a crucial role in our operations.
