Veterinary Cardiologist

Join a Progressive Talented ER and Specialty Team in the warm, sunny coast of South Carolina! New River Veterinary Specialists is actively hiring to add a Board-Certified Cardiologist, or Board-eligible Veterinary Cardiologist to our team. Our privately-owned facility is located 25 minutes from historic Savannah, GA and 12 minutes from the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC. NRVS is a brand-new custom built 15,000-square foot state of the art facility with a full in-house lab, 16-slice helical CT, 1.5-telsa MRI, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation. The NRVS team currently includes 1 Internist, 2.5 Criticalists, 1 Surgeon (also Certified in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine), 11 Emergency doctors, a VTS-ECC and an amazing team of technicians & assistants. Our Internal Medicine service runs an active interventional radiology and interventional urology service completed with Holmium laser. We are also actively adding Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, and Dermatology to our service offerings. We are offering a unique opportunity for the right individuals to shape their own specialty service and contribute to the culture of the hospital. We have a $200k base salary with 25% production and no negative accrual. Four, 10 hour shifts and our benefits package includes CE, organizational dues/licenses, health & dental insurance, supplemental insurance, 401K with 4% match, PTO, paid sick time and pet insurance allowance.
