Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 3West Cardiac Unit. The ideal candidate will have cardiac knowledge and experience with advanced medication management. This unit features a patient ratio of 6:1, ensuring focused care for each individual.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside and hourly rounding ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Manage cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKGs as required.
• Document telemetry applications and patient assessments accurately.
• Coordinate with PCTs on patient needs and departmental focus areas.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN Licensure in the state.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Cardiac knowledge preferred.
