Final Filing Date: 11/02/2026 This position is located at DMV Headquarters in Sacramento What You’ll Do: Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for multi‑phase IT initiatives Build and maintain automated test suites and testing standards Review requirements, identify gaps, and ensure full testing coverage Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the SDLC Mentor testers and support onboarding of new team members Monitor risks, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement Experience with Agile, test automation frameworks, and API testing Hands‑on experience with ALM Octane or similar lifecycle tools Ability to lead and coordinate work in a matrixed environment Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Working knowledge of Salesforce testing approaches Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical leadership Why Join the State of California?
