Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
• Manage critically ill patients requiring complex, high-acuity interventions
• Administer and monitor day-one medications per unit protocol
• Perform and interpret EKG readings as required by the unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with dedicated Medical ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Current ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) certifications required
• Must successfully pass day-one medication and EKG competency exams (minimum 80% score)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a large, high-volume hospital environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity settings
