Required Qualifications:

• Current AL SLP license and Educator’s Certificate
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or solid understanding of pediatric speech-language pathology practices
• Prior work in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student achievement
• Attend meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations concerning special education services
