They serve as an agency leader, strategically guiding clients to achieve their communication and business objectives, fostering brand growth through deep category knowledge, strategic marketing acumen, value‑added relationships, and a genuine passion for patients. Agency Snow Job Function Account Management and Growth Job Subfunction Account Management Job Description Senior Account Director, Accounts – Client Services Objectives CLIENT RELATIONSHIP: develop and maintain meaningful client relationships at all levels, ensuring strategic recommendations and tactical deliverables surpass expectations; initiate ongoing communication to manage and align expectations, meet staffing and performance needs, and provide strategic counsel; STRATEGY: work with clients to drive strategic efforts, propose ideas to capitalize on opportunities, influence decision‑making, and be the client’s trusted source for innovation and counsel within the patient community; ORGANIC GROWTH: pursue organic growth opportunities, actively engage prospective clients, and build agency partnership opportunities; FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: collaborate with management to meet forecasting targets, communicate milestones, ensure timely billing logistics, and manage SOW development; MENTORING: lead and support employee‑engagement initiatives, foster cross‑discipline relationships, set performance expectations, and assist talent development. Patient Privacy Senior Account Directors will handle personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI). Required education includes the company’s policies, HIPAA requirements (Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Sunshine Act), adverse event reporting, privacy and data security, and promotional regulations for pharmaceuticals. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Conduct regular meetings and maintain close contact with the Account Team; Provide support, guidance, and resources to the team; Manage product strategy and ensure tactical implementation; Provide short‑ and long‑term direction for products; Resolve internal team dynamics issues; Mentor and review performance, identify development needs, and create coaching partnerships; Keep VPs apprised of key account status issues; Oversee team workload to execute all SOW tactics strategically and timely; Review and approve materials before client review; Interpret digital trend reports and generate client insights; Collaborate with the Creative Team on brand strategy and material development; Analyze business developments and competitive landscape to propose new growth opportunities; Lead strategic recommendations to clients and promote Snow’s programs and services; Manage multiple accounts; Develop SOWs in partnership with management; Prepare for and attend client strategic planning meetings; Develop internal processes and procedures for best practices across the company; Perform up to 30% travel; Additional duties consistent with business needs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 5+ years in pharma or healthcare advertising; experience with patients preferred; Strong communication and presentation skills; Significant background in pharmaceutical advertising account services; Ability to craft new‑business, creative, tactical, and strategic presentations; Team leadership skills; Strong mentoring and coaching skills; Entrepreneurial skill at organically building business; Management experience; Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Education, Experience, and Related Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university and three to five years of related experience and/or training preferred; Valid driver’s license required; Passport may be necessary for certain assignments. Physical Demands Perform regular standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, and speaking tasks; lift 10 pounds routinely and occasionally 25 pounds; requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Work Environment and Conditions Moderate noise level, minimal physical risk. No specific range posted.
