Job: Registered Nurse – CVOR

Location: Galloway, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Start Date: 06/29/2026

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, robotic, gynecological, and general surgery procedures.
• Circulate CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aneurysm repairs, thoracotomy, and vascular surgeries.
• Assist surgical teams during hybrid OR and cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor sterile field integrity and maintain infection control standards throughout procedures.
• Support robotic-assisted surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and specialized cardiovascular equipment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, radiology, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call coverage.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner and PowerChart systems.
• Float between Mainland and City campuses as needed based on staffing requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active NJ RN License or Compact RN License required.
• Minimum 1 year of OR/CVOR experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong circulating experience required, including vascular and hybrid OR cases.
• Scrub experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, GYN, robotics, and general OR procedures preferred.
• Proficiency with Cerner and PowerChart charting systems required.
• Ability to work staggered 10-hour shifts with weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, infection control, and surgical safety protocols.
