Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities Complete patient evaluations and reassessments in accordance with department guidelines Develop an individualized plan of care based on evaluation findings and parent/family goals Develop measurable long-term and short-term goals Participate in ongoing communication and collaboration with other members of the patient's interdisciplinary care team Monitor patient response to treatment intervention Provide COTA supervision Complete updated Plan of Cares as required by insurance Ensure patient authorization prior to providing therapy treatment Assess patient and family needs regarding their level of understanding, readiness to learn, ability to assimilate information, and the most desirable method of teaching Develop and instruct the patient and family for appropriate home treatment programs Complete documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance to department guidelines Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school required OT certification and licensure required Pediatric and/or clinical experience preferred but will make consideration for the right candidate What we offer Medical and dental benefits for full-time employees Paid time off for full-time employees Limited evaluations per week/month Paid documentation time 15 Paid Holidays Flexible Hours A fun and friendly interdisciplinary work environment And so much more!
