Job Role: Interventional Cardiology Physician
Responsibilities include: Providing inpatient cardiac care in the cath lab, performing echocardiograms, managing cardiac consults, and rounding on hospital patients to ensure local cardiac services and reduce transfers. The role involves no clinic or office work.
Key duties: Conducting procedures, managing hospital-based cases, and maintaining comprehensive cardiac care.
Qualifications and skills: Board certification, valid CA license, experience with Cerner EMR, and ability to perform echocardiograms and cardiac consults.
Additional details: Schedule includes weekdays and on-call duties. Credentialing typically takes 2-4 weeks. The position offers competitive pay and includes malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, and transportation support.
