Employees work from Monday to Friday, allowing for work-life balance while maintaining a focus on patient-centric care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic diagnoses, integrating their medical history and physical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.Implement individualized treatment strategies and monitor patient progress through evidence-based interventions, ensuring that goals are met and adjusted as necessary.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, to develop holistic care strategies that address all aspects of patient health.Maintain precise and thorough documentation of all patient care activities, from initial evaluations to discharge plans, in compliance with legal and organizational standards.Participate actively in organizational initiatives aimed at service improvement and community engagement.Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and specialized training, and providing clinical instruction to physical therapy students and interns.Enhance patient accessibility to care by diligently identifying barriers and utilizing site-specific data to inform practice improvements.Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic serves a wide range of patients, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic impairments, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work closely with diverse demographics, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and care tailored to their unique circumstances.QualificationsDoctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred, but new graduates with a strong clinical background are encouraged to apply.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting and to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
