Registered Nurse - Telemetry/PCU

This position requires 3x12-hour shifts during the day (07:00 - 19:30) or night (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our telemetry/PCU nursing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics, managing telemetry patients with various medical diagnoses primarily focused on cardiac care. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients' conditions using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with special procedures and perform necessary interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or PCU setting.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with charting systems, specifically Cerner, is preferred.
