Landscape Construction Crew Member

Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local landscaping company to hire a Landscape Construction Crew Member. This hands-on role supports landscape construction and nursery operations while delivering high-quality results for customers.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, value teamwork, and want to grow in the landscaping industry while contributing to high-quality outdoor projects.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Typical daytime hours 8:00am - 4:30pm (start time varies by project)
Some Saturdays and extended hours as workload dictates
Pay: $18-$24+
Competitive pay based on experience
Weekly paychecks every Friday
Responsibilities:
• Follow all instructions given by the Landscape Foreman or Leadman
• Assist in landscape construction projects (planting, installation, material handling, etc.)
• Properly and safely use tools, equipment, and PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, truck, and equipment
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or accidents immediately
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in line with company production standards
• Show initiative by identifying and completing next steps without direction
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Assist with nursery operations and seasonal preparation
• Represent the company professionally while on job sites and in uniform
Work Environment:
• Outdoor, hands-on work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
• Physically demanding role with lifting, bending, and repetitive movement
• Family-oriented team environment focused on teamwork and growth
• High standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Drug-free workplace; drug testing required following any workplace accident
Qualifications:
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and come prepared (proper clothing, water, PPE)
• Punctual and dependable with consistent attendance
• Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
• Safety-conscious and team-oriented mindset
• No prior experience required, training provided for the right candidate
