Reentry Specialist

NFI Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Reentry Specialist to provide both institutional and community-based case management services to justice-involved individuals. This role supports individuals across the reentry continuum by delivering evidence-based services that promote stability, skill development, and successful reintegration into the community. Service locations include the Middleton Jail and House of Correction, Essex County Pre-Release and Re-entry Center, Women in Transition Center, and Supporting Transition and Reentry (STAR) programs in Lynn and Lawrence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluate participant needs using designated tools Facilitate evidence-based psychoeducational groups in alignment with program curriculum Develop and implement individualized treatment and reentry plans, including ongoing progress documentation Monitor participant compliance with program expectations and ECSD rules and regulations Lead reentry and discharge planning to support successful community transition Ensure continuity of care and data transfer across program sites (Middleton, ECPRC, WIT, STAR) Provide support, guidance, and advocacy to help individuals navigate barriers and access resources Maintain accurate records, data entry, and reporting in accordance with NFI MA and ECSD policies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and conferences Provide case management, referrals, and aftercare support services Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required Experience working with justice-involved populations preferred Experience facilitating groups preferred Knowledge of local and regional resources related to mental health, substance use recovery, and reentry support Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Salary: $25.00 - $31.25 per hour NFI Massachusetts offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (multiple plan options) 403(b) Retirement Plan with potential employer match 3 Weeks Paid Vacation + 11 Paid Holidays + Paid Sick Leave Company-Paid Life & Long-Term Disability Insurance Tuition Reimbursement (up to $2,500 per year) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) Voluntary Benefits: Pet Insurance, Home & Auto, Legal Plan & more!
