Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled RN to join the operating room team for a seasonal travel assignment. The role involves supporting elective surgical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring surgical safety. Responsibilities: Coordinate and assist with elective surgeries such as ortho/spine, CV, plastics, GYN, robotics, and urology. Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical equipment per facility guidelines. Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to facilitate smooth operations. Document clinical procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR system. Adhere to all unit policies, safety protocols, and equipment usage standards. Qualifications: Valid RN license with current hospital acute care OR experience. Minimum of 1-year recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; ACLS preferred. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
