Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing various types of surgeries, with a focus on neuro, spine, and general procedures. The position requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour work hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience in an acute care hospital setting, including neuro experience; BLS; ACLS; NIH certification required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Robotic surgery experience; Meditech electronic documentation experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 17 beds, including CVOR and transplant capabilities.
  • Procedures include high volume of general, neurosurgery, orthopedic, robotic, urology, and plastic surgeries; also includes heart and transplant procedures.
  • Equipment includes Davinci XI robots, Globus, Mako, microscopes, and other OR technology.
  • Staffing includes 1-2 surgical techs per case; patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1.
  • Dress code requires facility-provided scrubs; no gel or artificial nails; neat hair; body art and piercings must follow policy.
