About the Position

Job Title: Sonographer Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 20 weeks Shift: 8 hours Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in pediatric sonography required. License: BLS required. Certifications: ARDMS required. Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred. Fetal Echo encouraged. Adult echo a plus. Must-Have: - Knowledgeable and experienced with ECMO procedure to assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement. - Extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease. Description: Performs echocardiographic studies within the complete spectrum of diagnoses seen in fetal congenital heart disease, pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography. Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU. Recognizes and triages emergent situations. Provides written communication to cardiologists. Maintains equipment. Logs and bills procedures. Proficient with Epic and PACS. Familiarity with Phillips Floor equipment preferred. Scrubs will be provided in Caribbean Blue.
