Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Job Summary Part‑time Retail Display Installer position located in Asheboro, NC, with service areas in Pittsboro, Greensboro, and Siler City. Responsibilities Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory. Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays. Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel. Schedule up to 15 hours per week, available Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm. No weekends or evenings. Potential for additional hours when covering larger regions or traveling. Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit. Benefits and Compensation Hourly rate of $17.00 for general merchandising projects. Higher rates for additional technical projects, based on need. W‑2 employment with bi‑weekly pay schedule and direct deposit. Optional 401(k) plan with company match. Travel reimbursement for store‑to‑store driving time and mileage assistance. Paid training time provided to prepare for program success. Accrue PTO hours every week worked. Access to earned‑wage service via TapCheck for early wage access and financial services. Qualifications Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience highly desirable. Versatile: able to handle all levels of merchandising work within the territory. Strong attention to detail; follows complex written instructions and display diagrams. Independent worker capable of self‑directed work and teamwork with a small team when needed. Tech‑ready: internet access, basic hand‑held tools, Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access a plus. Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and willingness to use vehicle for job responsibilities. Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
