Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in San Francisco, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment. The role supports a variety of surgical procedures, requiring flexibility to float to other healthcare facilities within the same organization.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience in neurology or operating room settings, and California licensure in hand
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, prior experience in neurology, neurovascular, or movement disorder cases, and familiarity with Epic charting system
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Experience with Botox medication preparation, Epic inbasket management, and patient call handling
• Additional Information: Resources may be reassigned to different departments or facilities within a 75+ mile radius during assignment, subject to job specifications and approval. Orientation consists of 40 hours, with registration at 4:00 pm PST on the Monday before the start date. Travelers with a Monday start date in outpatient or ambulatory settings may begin sooner if pre-approved.
