Pharmacist - Sanford, Florida

A pharmacist position is available in Sanford, FL, with a focus on serving skilled nursing, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living communities. This opportunity is temp-to-hire, with an immediate start date. The role involves working closely with institutional pharmacy services that provide unit-dose medication and customized medical records, including electronic medical record interfaces.


Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Weekday shifts: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Weekend shifts (every other weekend): Day shift from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Alternative shift options: Shortened shifts are available, including 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM and 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications accurately for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Support electronic medical record integration and maintain accurate medication documentation
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license in the state of Florida
• Experience working with institutional or long-term care pharmacy services
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends
