Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1

Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1 to join their team. As a Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1, you will be part of the Sourcing - Fresh Meat (Beef & Poultry) department supporting the Store Support Center team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data & Analytics Analyst - Shift 1 Location: Cincinnati, OH What's the Job? Monitor stock levels and identify out‑of‑stock products to ensure optimal inventory management. Analyze supplier performance and follow KPIs to identify gaps and root causes of stock issues. Create focused report dashboards and perform root cause analysis to inform decision making. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support analytics needs and strategic initiatives. Utilize Excel and other data tools to export, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple sources. What's Needed? Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related fields. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools such as SQL or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to new systems and tools.
