26008257 Radiographer (RAD Tech), Full Time, Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Part Time, 16 Hours; Tuesday & Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Radiology Department Highlights Variety of exams performed: Fluoroscopy, OR, Trauma Comprehensive Stroke Center Trauma Center Fast paced high acuity and volume facility around 150 exams a day Collaborative Radiologist Group Here’s What You Need Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required or Associate's Degree preferred 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required What You Will Do Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique Maintain attention to details Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS Correctly send and transfer images to PACS Print laser images from modality or PACS Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities Since 1991, Texas Health Plano has served the communities of Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and McKinney.
