About Us - UMKC School of Dentistry | University of Missouri-Kansas City Job Description The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to fill the position of Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in the Periodontics Department. This is a ranked non-tenure track faculty position. The department is responsible for pre-doctoral and dental specialty students, patient care, and service in periodontics. Specific responsibilities of this position include pre-doctoral classroom and clinical instruction in periodontics. Experience teaching in a didactic and/or clinical environment is an advantage. Qualifications Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field. Applicants must be eligible for and obtain the appropriate Missouri Dental Hygiene License prior to starting their employment. This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
