As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and store management. Minimum Requirements: A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
