Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:


Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring medical-surgical interventions in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes during a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical status regularly.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge instructions and health management.
• Respond promptly to emergent situations, providing critical care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current clinical practice credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
