Internal Medicine Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) MedCBO, Inc. We are seeking independent practicing physicians in the specialty of Internal Medicine to establish or transition into a physician‑owned practice with MedCBO’s administrative support. Job Type Independent Practice Opportunity – Not an employed physician position Overview Physicians will own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services, including revenue cycle management, coding, payer contracting, EHR and technology platform, credentialing, financial reporting, HR administration, supply‑chain coordination, and staffing workflows. Physicians maintain full clinical authority and control over patient care policies. Physician Responsibilities Provide medical care within the scope of Internal Medicine Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate with MedCBO for payer credentialing and enrollment as required Determine clinical services offered and monitor patient experience and quality of care Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market ratesl No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice and varies based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
