Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Neurology Clinic. This position will mainly support our Neurology Clinic but could float to other patient specialties/clinic locations based on clinical needs/hours.Our Neurology Clinic provides consultation services, evaluations, diagnosis, and treatments for adult patients with a broad spectrum of disorders affecting the nervous system. Our general neurologists are committed to providing specialized care with a generalist perspective, ensuring an innovative, effective, and personalized approach, and diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of neurological conditions. Patients with any neurologic problem, uncertain about their neurological condition, experiencing neurological symptoms, or needing a neurological evaluation may receive care in the general neurology outpatient clinic.This position comes with the University of Iowa's full, comprehensive benefit package including generous employer contributions into retirement plans, paid vacation and sick leave, and much more! This position also includes FREE on-site parking!Duties to include:Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. No weekends, on call time, or holidays required.Location: Iowa City, IA (or surrounding clinics based on clinical need or hours)Pay Grade: 11Salary: $45,455.76 - $67,713.84 (at 100% time) Hourly: $21.77 - $32.43 (based on years of experience)Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit.
