Senior Financial Analyst

Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for client contracts Manage and forecast expenses for financial reports Prepare budgets, forecasts, trend analyses, and expense accruals Provide information for monthly journal entries Compile and prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports Conduct financial and business-related analyses Research financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, business improvement, and business investment opportunities Requirements BA/BS in accounting or finance Minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting, or an approved Finance internship Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred 3–5 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred Hyperion Essbase experience Advanced Excel skills Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Must reside in Connecticut Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
