The OS Performance Tools team is seeking a visionary senior engineer to take on a lead/architect role for a critical, Apple-internal macOS performance analysis application. Responsibilities

• Your responsibilities will include defining the product roadmap, navigating competing priorities, making critical decisions, and representing plans and status to stakeholders and senior leadership to keep everyone aligned and the project moving forward. A key part of this role is engaging directly with our users to provide support and gather feedback to guide future development. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems fundamentals. and a drive to seek out opportunities for growth for the team. Minimum Qualifications

• Strong OS & systems fundamentals
• Prior macOS or iOS app development experience
• Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift
• Excellent UI/UX design sensibilities to create clean, innovative, and intuitive user experiences
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Proven experience leading software projects and defining technical direction

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into a clear technical roadmap
• Aptitude to independently learn new technologies, prototype, and propose innovative software solutions

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
