Job Opportunity: Neonatologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to enhance our growing Neonatology program at a prominent medical center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

This is a full-time role where you will collaborate with a well-established team comprising four Neonatologists, along with a full array of physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). You will apply your extensive clinical skills in a 28-bed Level 3 NICU and our Level I & II satellite nurseries throughout the region. Our team shares responsibilities to ensure continuous 24/7 coverage for the NICU, hospitalist support for the newborn nursery, and assistance during complex deliveries and cesarean sections.

As part of an academic affiliate hospital, you will have numerous opportunities to educate medical students from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Additionally, our NICU serves as a training ground for residents from various programs, including OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine, as well as students from local paramedic and physician assistant programs.
