Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. This position involves the mechanical assembly of cleavers used for cutting fiber optic cables. You will work with intricate mechanical components and perform minor wiring based on detailed instructions.
Responsibilities

• Interpret complex work instructions for the assembly of units.
• Utilize small hand tools to assemble units.
• Be trained on new processes and assemblies.
• Communicate effectively with peers and various support group personnel.
• Assemble small mechanical components.
• Perform basic wiring of units.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in interpreting complex work instructions.
• Experience with hand and measuring tools.
• Ability to quickly learn and be trained on new assemblies and processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in technical mechanical assembly, particularly with work instructions.
• Experience in electronics or technical companies.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
