Sanitation Attendant (957592) The Sanitation Attendant ensures a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role focuses on maintaining sanitation standards across the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient areas. Key Responsibilities Completes and maintains job performance requirements as established. Maintains standards in the Disciplinary Points Section. Delivers patient food cards to floors, assists in removing tray carts after meals. Cleans and fills pot washer; sanitizes cooking utensils, pots and pans. Returns items to proper storage locations. Sweeps and mops specified areas of the kitchen and café; moves portable equipment for cleaning. Collects, processes, and disposes of trash; follows procedures using trash compactor. Cleans tray return room, strips and delivers trays, china, and flatware to kitchen for washing. Performs all cleaning and restocking duties specified in Time and Duties. Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings. Alerts supervisor of equipment issues; assists with maintenance of department equipment. Monitors equipment temperatures according to established procedures. Assists on patient tray line as needed. Preferred Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Sanitation experience in food service or equivalent sanitation experience.
