Forklift Operator / General Laborer
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Forklift Operator / General Laborer to join our warehouse or production team. This hybrid role includes operating a forklift and performing various general labor duties to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack materials
- Perform general labor tasks including cleaning, material handling, and basic assembly or packaging
- Assist with inventory counts and organization of warehouse or production areas
- Load and unload trucks or containers safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA preferred)
- 1+ years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and warehouse operations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
