The operator maintains accurate inventory through the use of the warehouse management system. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and any tools, pumping systems used in the warehouse to complete tasks.Bulk Loading ResponsibilitiesOperating mechanical pumps in warehouse as well as hydraulic pumps on tanker trucks.Operating and driving six different bulk trucks on site.Handling multiple hoses/connections to load and offload product by the gallon.Operating in house pumps to fill totes, drums and pails for work orders.Following bulk standards and processes to ensure Safety, Quality, Service and Productivity.Sustaining the condition of hoses, connections and pumps.Warehouse ResponsibilitiesUsing forklift and/or pallet jacks to accurately pick orders and loading freight regularly.Receiving of vendor receipts and transfers.Inspects materials for nonconformities, following non-conforming process if necessaryUses the warehouse management system – utilizes scanners to maintain accurate inventory.Wrap pallets securely for shipment.Preparation of hazardous materials for shipment, including completing DOT HAZMAT paperwork as necessary.Pack cartons correctly and stack cartons on pallets.Transfer bulk products into drums, totes and pailsFollows work instructions according to company policies and proceduresFollow all safety guidelines and regulationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience/Training:Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive relations with team membersCapable of standing, walking and repeatedly climbing into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day. Ability to lift 50lbs periodicallyMust be able to perform basic math skillsMust have attention to detailHigh Level of flexibilityKnowledge of quality management systemsKnowledge of inspection processesAbility to read and understand written and verbal instructions in EnglishMust be able to perform basic mathematical skillsOne or more years in a warehouse setting preferredLicenses/Certificates:Forklift certification preferredValid driver's license and clean driving recordTechnology/Equipment:Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System or ERP system preferredPhysical and Mental Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60lbs. intermittently. Personal Protective Equipment must be used intermittently while working with certain hazardous materials. Noise level is moderate to loud. Although the warehouse is climate controlled, the employee will need to be able to adapt to different climate changes. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $20 and $24 hourly.
